We are thrilled and pleased to announce that Mr. Ryan Landes has accepted the invitation to serve as our new Student Minister. This appointment is the culmination of the long search, interview and discernment process by our Youth Advisory Group who met last Monday evening and unanimously agreed for Mr. Ryan Landes to be issued the call to serve as our Student Minister.
Ryan currently serves as the Director of Youth Ministries at a Parish in California. He has a BA in Biblical/Theological Studies and Philosophy from BIOLA University and his seminary degree from Talbot School of Theology. It was through his discovery of Anglicanism that the Lord led him to the Anglican Church in North America. Ryan still has ministry commitments to his Church until the end of March and then in April, he and wife, Rianna, will make the move to Georgetown so that he is ready to begin with us May 1.
Thank you to everyone for keeping this important search in your prayers. Student Ministry is such a vital and important part of our Gospel mission and ministry. It is an investment in our present and in our future and it has been an integral part of our parish for many years. Thank you to all who support this incredible, valuable and life impacting ministry. We are so blessed that the Lord has brought Devin to us to continue to build upon the good work of those who have served before. I am most grateful to all the members of the Youth Advisory Group, Lori Bellune, Jennifer Crocker, Tory Mackey, Robin Tiller, Josh and Jai Quiqley, Rags Coxe for all their work in this long search process as well as many others who facilitated, made possible and participated in our on site visits and interviews of candidates. We at Prince George are truly blessed!
Please continue to keep Ryan and his wife, Rianna, in your prayers during this time of transition. Please also keep our Student Ministries in your prayers as we embark and begin a new and exciting chapter.
